Mercor is collaborating with a leading AI lab to recruit electronics specialists who can turn shopper briefs into precise, high-confidence product picks across every category.

You will assess AI suggestions, curate alternatives, and attach the context buyers need—ensuring upcoming AI assistants give trustworthy consumer tech advice.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate devices: Assess phones, laptops, AV, gaming, cameras, networking, and smart home gear against real shopper requirements.
• Write clear recs: Produce concise guidance with specs, pros/cons, trade-offs, and “who it’s for” blurbs.
• Compare across tiers: Build good/better/best bundles, check compatibility, and flag pitfalls or notable retailer policies.
• Review AI picks: Audit AI-generated suggestions, fill gaps, and correct inaccurate or unsafe advice.

Ideal Qualifications

• Hands-on background in consumer electronics retail, product specialization, or credible editorial/reviewer roles.
• Ability to translate specs into buyer-friendly decisions (HDMI 2.1, panel types, codecs, storage, lens mounts, etc.).
• Comfort cross-shopping authorized retailers and balancing pros/cons across price points.
• Sound judgment on safety, compatibility, and warranty considerations.
