MS Excel / Google Sheets Evaluator

In this role, you will use your deep MS Excel and Google Sheets expertise to train and enhance frontier machine learning models in data organization and document analysis.

What You'll Do
- Review and evaluate domain-specific spreadsheets and documents, providing structured feedback on quality, accuracy, and relevance.
- Train frontier AI systems by applying your technical expertise in data organization, formulas, and document structure.
- Assess complex data structures, formula logic, and document layouts against strict evaluation guidelines.
- Analyze documents efficiently to help shape the next generation of intelligent systems in a global AI research initiative.
Ideal Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree minimum; advanced degrees in data, analytics, finance, or related fields are a strong plus.
- 3+ years of professional experience in a role involving heavy document or data management.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets; familiarity with MS/Google Docs and Slides is a strong plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and written communication skills to deliver clear, structured feedback.
Role Details
- Pay: $80–$150/hour USD, based on experience and region.
- Fully remote and asynchronous — work entirely on your own schedule as an independent contractor through Mercor.
- Weekly payments handled via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
- Flexible, ongoing timeline — projects can be extended based on performance and project needs. Note: unable to support H-1B or STEM OPT candidates at this time.
