Management & Strategy Consultant (MBB/Big 5) — AI Research

JobHub by NeonLabs, in partnership with Mercor, is seeking experienced Management & Strategy Consultants (MBB/Big 5) to support Project Panacea, a research initiative focused on training AI agents to handle complex, real-world business and consulting work.

This role focuses on designing and refining the scenarios used to evaluate and improve how AI systems approach multi-document, multi-stakeholder business problems. You will contribute to a long-term initiative conducting market research, developing go-to-market strategies, and synthesizing data to directly impact the reasoning and operational capabilities of next-generation AI.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis
• Develop business cases, operational frameworks, and go-to-market strategies
• Synthesize data into actionable insights using presentations, memos, and models
• Support strategic planning, scenario modeling, and opportunity evaluation; design and refine complex scenarios to evaluate how AI systems solve real-world business problems

Ideal Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of experience at a top management consultancy (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or Big 5)
• Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Comfortable working independently in ambiguous or rapidly evolving contexts
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and basic data analysis tools

Engagement Details

• Pay: $100/hour (USD) • Weekly payouts via Stripe or Wise
• Type: Independent Contractor | Remote • Location: United States or Canada (No H1-B or STEM OPT)
• Schedule: Minimum 10 hours/week, flexible on your own schedule • Employer of Record: Mercor
• Bonus: Experience in tech/AI/SaaS advising, multi-stakeholder evaluation, or AI training and scenario design
