The Role
As a Strategic Projects Lead (SPL), you will own the end-to-end delivery of coding data pipelines used to train frontier AI models. You’ll work closely with AI Lab clients, software engineering experts, reviewers, and internal teams to ensure high-quality, scalable execution.
What You’ll Do
- Own end-to-end delivery of coding data pipelines, ensuring quality, timelines, and client alignment.
- Drive automation of pipeline workflows, including task generation, validation, QC, and reporting.
- Coordinate across experts, reviewers, MTS, and clients to maintain execution consistency and quality.
- Define task specifications, golden samples, and review rubrics to establish clear quality standards.
- Track and optimize pipeline health across quality, AHT, throughput, and delivery metrics.
- Lead continuous improvement based on client feedback, audits, and performance data.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of software engineering and coding fundamentals.
- 2+ years leading technical projects, operations, or complex data workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using metrics to drive improvements.
- Ability to translate client requirements into clear technical specifications and scalable workflows.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and client-facing teams.
- Startup mindset with a bias toward ownership, automation, and execution.
Compensation & Benefits Notice
The national pay range for this full-time position is base salary of $120,000 to $160,000 USD. All employees are eligible for equity compensation, and employees may also receive performance-based bonuses, dependent on role and subject to company policies. micro1 provides a comprehensive benefits package, including up to 100% reimbursement for health-insurance premiums, paid time off, a 401(K) plan with a company match, and additional benefits designed to support a high-performing, remote-first workforce.
