Mercor is seeking wholesale order clerks who can translate inventory and fulfillment workflows into structured AI training data.

Mercor is collaborating with an AI lab to capture the details of wholesale order processing, from intake to invoice resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Write tasks and scenarios that reflect real-world order processing work in wholesale trade.
• Create realistic situations involving order entry, inventory verification, pricing calculations, and customer communication.
• Develop scenarios for handling order modifications, processing invoices, coordinating with warehouse teams, and resolving order issues.
• Review and evaluate AI responses to order processing queries for accuracy and professional standards.
• Provide detailed feedback on order fulfillment scenarios to improve AI training.

Ideal Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience as an order clerk in wholesale trade.
• Demonstrated professional recognition and management responsibilities.
• Proficient with computers and skilled at using various software systems.
• Excellent written communication with strong grammar and spelling skills.
• Ability to pass a video interview, background check, training, and qualification quiz.

More About the Opportunity

• Fully remote and asynchronous — complete work on your own schedule.
• Expected workload: 20+ hours per week with flexibility to scale up to 40 hours.
• Project start date: immediate, with engagements lasting around six weeks.

Compensation & Contract Terms

• $40-$55/hour with weekly payments through Stripe Connect.
• Independent contractor engagement through Mercor.
• Hourly compensation is paid weekly via Stripe Connect.
• Payments are based on services rendered, and contractors maintain full control over their work schedule and methods.
