Mercor is partnering with a leading AI lab to capture how parks and recreation experts plan programs, manage facilities, and serve diverse communities.

Key Responsibilities

The Parks and Recreation Workers role is a remote contract position paying $40-$75/hr. It suits experienced professionals who want flexible, project-based AI work reviewed on a rolling basis. You collaborate directly with client teams on real deliverables that help train and evaluate next-generation AI systems, with no long-term commitment required.

• Write tasks and scenarios that reflect real-world parks and recreation work based on your professional experience.
• Create realistic situations involving program planning, facility management, community event coordination, and public engagement.
• Develop scenarios for handling diverse populations, safety protocols, conflict resolution, budget constraints, accessibility accommodations, and inter-department coordination.
• Review and evaluate AI responses to parks and recreation queries for accuracy and professional standards.
• Provide detailed feedback on parks and recreation scenarios to improve AI training.

Ideal Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience as a recreation worker in government, municipal parks and recreation, or public recreation programs.
• Demonstrated professional recognition and management responsibilities.
• Proficient with computers and able to navigate various software systems.
• Excellent written communication with strong grammar and spelling skills.
• Ability to pass a video interview, background check, training, and qualification quiz.

More About the Opportunity

• Fully remote and asynchronous - complete work on your own schedule.
• Expected workload: 20+ hours per week with flexibility to scale up to 40 hours.
• Project start date: immediate, with engagements lasting around six weeks.

Compensation & Contract Terms

• $40-$75/hour with weekly payments through Stripe Connect.
• Independent contractor engagement through Mercor.
• Hourly compensation is paid weekly via Stripe Connect.
• Payments are based on services rendered, and contractors maintain full control over their work schedule and methods.
