Production Supervisor - Manufacturing

Mercor is hiring production supervisors to create manufacturing workflow and quality control scenarios that train AI systems.

Mercor is partnering with an AI lab to capture how production supervisors coordinate teams, uphold safety, and troubleshoot issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Write tasks and scenarios that reflect real-world production supervision work in manufacturing.
• Create realistic situations involving team leadership, workflow coordination, quality control, and safety compliance.
• Develop scenarios for scheduling, training, performance management, and production troubleshooting.
• Review and evaluate AI responses to manufacturing supervision queries for accuracy and industry standards.
• Provide detailed feedback on production management scenarios to improve AI training.

Ideal Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience as a first-line supervisor of production and operating workers in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated professional recognition and management responsibilities.
• Proficient with computers and experienced with manufacturing software systems.
• Excellent written communication with strong grammar and spelling skills.
• Ability to pass a video interview, background check, training, and qualification quiz.

More About the Opportunity

• Fully remote and asynchronous — complete work on your own schedule.
• Expected workload: 20+ hours per week with flexibility to scale up to 40 hours.
• Project start date: immediate, with engagements lasting around six weeks.

Compensation & Contract Terms

• $55-$70/hour with weekly payouts via Stripe Connect.
• Independent contractor engagement through Mercor.
• Hourly compensation is paid weekly via Stripe Connect.
• Payments are based on services rendered, and contractors maintain full control over their work schedule and methods.
