You will use tools like Codex or Claude Code to execute realistic development tasks on live codebases while documenting agent performance and fixes.
What You’ll Do
- Tackle production-grade tickets across Rust, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python services using advanced code agents.
- Diagnose agent missteps, apply manual fixes, and capture precise notes on failure modes.
- Contribute pull requests, tests, and documentation that keep complex systems stable.
- Share qualitative feedback that helps the AI lab evolve its coding agent workflows.
What Sets You Apart
- Track record of shipping software with coding agents embedded in your workflow.
- Fluency in at least one of Rust, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python for production systems.
- Public open-source contributions or robust personal projects hosted on GitHub.
- STEM degree from a leading university in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, or New Zealand.
Engagement Snapshot
- Schedule: 10–20 hours per week to start with the ability to ramp toward 40 hours.
- Duration: Minimum 2-week sprint with opportunities for extensions.
