Mercor is seeking native Korean legal professionals based in Korea to build accurate, culturally nuanced legal content for AI training. You will combine practice experience with bilingual communication to reflect real-world Korean legal usage.
Role Responsibilities
The Bilingual Korean Legal Expert role is a remote contract position paying $70-$80/hr. It suits experienced professionals who want flexible, project-based AI work reviewed on a rolling basis. You collaborate directly with client teams on real deliverables that help train and evaluate next-generation AI systems, with no long-term commitment required.
- Translate, adapt, and synthesize complex Korean legal scenarios aligned with regional regulations.
- Ensure bilingual precision by writing clearly in both Korean and English.
- Provide cultural and domain insights across Korean legal processes and terminology.
- Collaborate with reviewers to validate accuracy and maintain high-quality outputs.
Ideal Candidates Should Have
- Native-level Korean fluency with strong written and spoken English.
- Advanced degree in law with 2-6+ years practicing in Korea.
- Exceptional writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with assessment or rubric development is a plus.
- Familiarity with generative AI or machine learning concepts is helpful but not required.

- Remote, asynchronous engagement with a 20+ hour weekly expectation.
