Identify Day Type

Classify behavior off the opening range first, then use PM/Weekly levels for targets and edge rejections.

Behavior

  • Price breaks OR High/OR Low and stays outside
  • Expansion has room toward PM High/PM Low targets
  • High relative volume on the break
  • No immediate fall back into the PM range

Execution

  • Wait for OR break, then retest and confirmation close
  • Enter when the level holds, do not chase big candles
  • Use PM High/PM Low as first target zones
  • Trade fails if price closes back inside the broken OR boundary
  • Partial at 1R, trail if structure stays intact
  • Base target profile: 1.5R to 2R

Behavior

  • OR break attempt fails or no clean OR breakout
  • Repeated rejection wicks at OR/PM/Weekly boundaries
  • Lower/declining volume at edges

Execution

  • RES SELL: rejection at OR High, PM High, or Weekly High
  • SUP BUY: bounce at OR Low, PM Low, or Weekly Low
  • Price must fail to hold outside the level
  • First target: range midpoint
  • Second target: opposite boundary
  • Trade fails if candle closes outside the range
