Mercor is partnering with a leading AI startup to bring on a Korean-language specialist who can stress-test multimodal models and surface cultural nuances they still miss.
You will translate complex prompts into practical experiments, explore Gemini-TMs newest image and video capabilities, and catalogue the gaps that slow down real-world adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI visuals: Review, score, and refine AI-generated images and videos produced from Korean prompts for fluency, accuracy, and relevance.
- Deliver cultural guidance: Provide detailed feedback covering idioms, tone, and sensitive cultural context so models behave appropriately.
- Stress-test edge cases: Use Gemini and companion tools to probe tricky scenarios, document failure modes, and share replicable examples.
- Collaborate with builders: Work with AI researchers to prioritize fixes and iterate toward higher-quality Korean-language outputs.
Ideal Qualifications
- Full professional fluency in Korean and English.
- Deep knowledge of Korean culture, idiomatic language, and regional nuance.
- Experience evaluating content, translation, or linguistic quality; AI interest preferred.
- Clear, detail-oriented written communication for feedback and documentation.
