Mercor is seeking experienced Personal Financial Advisors to support a leading AI lab in advancing research for next-generation machine learning systems.

You will create tasks and deliverables around common financial planning requests while working independently and remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Create personal finance tasks rooted in real client scenarios.
• Apply advisory expertise to ensure accuracy and realism.
• Document guidance clearly and consistently for AI evaluation.
• Follow project standards for quality and timeliness.

Ideal Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in financial advisory roles.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
• Comfort working independently in a remote environment.
• Ability to scale hours as needed during the project.

More About the Opportunity

• Expected workload: ~15 hours per week with flexibility up to 30+ hours.
• Project start: immediate, lasting around 3-4 weeks.
• Independent contractor role with weekly payments via Stripe or Wise.
• Mercor cannot currently support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates.
