Mercor is hiring experienced personal financial advisors to create realistic planning scenarios that train AI systems on client strategy.

Mercor is collaborating with an AI lab to capture how top advisors guide clients through investment, retirement, tax, and wealth strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Write tasks and scenarios that reflect real-world personal financial advising work.
• Create realistic situations involving investment planning, retirement strategies, tax planning, and wealth management.
• Develop scenarios for client consultations, portfolio recommendations, risk assessment, and financial goal setting.
• Review and evaluate AI responses to financial advisory queries for accuracy and professional standards.
• Provide detailed feedback on financial planning scenarios to improve AI training.

Ideal Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience as a personal financial advisor in finance and insurance.
• Demonstrated professional recognition and management responsibilities.
• Proficient with computers and experienced with various software systems.
• Excellent written communication with strong grammar and spelling skills.
• Ability to pass a video interview, background check, training, and qualification quiz.

More About the Opportunity

• Fully remote and asynchronous — complete work on your own schedule.
• Expected workload: 20+ hours per week with flexibility to scale up to 40 hours.
• Project start date: immediate, with engagements lasting around six weeks.

Compensation & Contract Terms

• $130-$145/hour with weekly payouts via Stripe Connect.
• Independent contractor engagement through Mercor.
• Hourly compensation is paid weekly via Stripe Connect.
• Payments are based on services rendered, and contractors maintain full control over their work schedule and methods.
