Responsibilities

• Annotate AI-generated video clips for meme accuracy and cultural relevance.
• Evaluate tone, context, and humor using structured rubrics.
• Identify emerging trends and viral references to inform researchers.
• Collaborate asynchronously with the team refining annotation standards.

Required Qualifications

• Deep familiarity with internet culture, memes, and entertainment news.
• Strong written communication and attention to context.
• Experience in content moderation, media annotation, or cultural analysis (preferred).
• Consistent weekly availability with reliable internet access.

Additional Information

• Pay: $40 per hour.
• Schedule: ~40 hours per week, independent contractor.
• Payments: Weekly via Stripe Connect; fully remote and async.
• Ongoing project with long-term extension potential.
