Based in San Francisco, California, Turing is the world’s leading research accelerator for frontier AI labs and a trusted partner for global enterprises deploying advanced AI systems. Turing supports customers in two ways: first, by accelerating frontier research with high-quality data, advanced training pipelines, plus top AI researchers who specialize in coding, reasoning, STEM, multilinguality, multimodality, and agents; and second, by applying that expertise to help enterprises transform AI from proof of concept into proprietary intelligence with systems that perform reliably, deliver measurable impact, and drive lasting results on the P&L.
Role Overview:
We are seeking experienced Sleep Specialists / Behavioral Sleep Medicine Professionals to help evaluate and enhance large language model (LLM) outputs related to sleep health and behavioral sleep medicine. You’ll assess AI-generated content for scientific accuracy, safety, and relevance , contributing to the development of responsible AI that supports evidence-based sleep health information. Selected talents will label and evaluate data related to sleep patterns, quality, and disturbances (e.g., sleep tracker data, logs, or self-reports) to support AI models focused on sleep health.
What You'll Do Day-to-Day:
- Annotate sleep stages, duration, onset/wake times, and disturbances from sensor data, logs, or diaries.
- Classify sleep quality indicators and identify patterns consistent with common sleep issues (e.g., insomnia, irregular schedules).
- Cross-check self-reported sleep data against objective device/sensor data for consistency.
- Flag anomalies, missing data, or device/measurement errors.
- Apply and help refine standardized sleep annotation guidelines.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency across large datasets.
Requirements:
- Background in sleep science, physiology, psychology, or a related health field.
- Familiarity with sleep tracking technologies (actigraphy, PSG basics, consumer wearables).
- Strong attention to detail and pattern recognition skills.
- Comfort working with time-series data and annotation platforms.
- Ideal to have a MacBook.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with sleep study data or clinical sleep assessments.
