Mercor is seeking special needs financial planning professionals to support a dataset project focused on disability-related planning and public benefits coordination.

You will create and review structured content on special needs trusts, ABLE accounts, and benefits-preserving strategies.

Key Responsibilities

The Special Needs Financial Planning Expert role is a remote part-time position paying $90-$130/hr. It suits experienced professionals who want flexible, project-based AI work reviewed on a rolling basis. You collaborate directly with client teams on real deliverables that help train and evaluate next-generation AI systems, with no long-term commitment required.

• Develop expert-level content aligned with project guidelines and review standards.
• Review and translate special needs financial plans into structured documentation.
• Validate accuracy on SSI and Medicaid eligibility rules and asset treatment.
• Provide structured feedback to improve dataset clarity and consistency.

Ideal Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in special needs financial planning or disability-focused services.
• Demonstrated expertise in special needs trusts and ABLE accounts.
• Advanced understanding of SSI and Medicaid financial eligibility standards.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to explain complex regulations clearly.

Role Details

• Part-time, project-based engagement (4-6 weeks).
• Expected commitment: 10-15 hours per week.
• Independent contractor role with weekly payments via Stripe or Wise.
