Responsibilities

• Develop and refine structured call flows that capture eligibility and benefits details for specialty medications.
• Translate payer requirements and internal notes into natural-language prompts that yield accurate, auditable answers.
• Embed payer-specific nuances including medical vs. pharmacy benefits, prior authorization steps, step therapy, and specialty distribution pathways.
• Iterate with QA feedback and live payer conversations to continually sharpen clarity and coverage.
• Maintain consistency, compliance, and version control across scripts and supporting documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Background in specialty pharmacy operations, payer communications, or benefits investigation.
• Deep knowledge of specialty medication coverage, including NDCs, J-codes, HCPCS, ICD-10, and payer authorization rules.
• Demonstrated ability to write precise, conversational scripts that guide agents to capture complete payer information.
• Excellent written communication, documentation skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience leading payer calls or benefits verification efforts is highly valued.

• Commitment: Approximately 20-30 hours per week.
