Mercor is hiring shipping, receiving, and inventory clerks to create logistics scenarios that train AI systems.

Mercor is collaborating with an AI lab to encode the expertise of manufacturing logistics specialists into real-world training data.

Key Responsibilities

• Write tasks and scenarios that reflect real-world shipping, receiving, and inventory work in manufacturing.
• Create realistic situations involving shipment processing, receiving inspections, inventory tracking, and warehouse documentation.
• Develop scenarios for handling discrepancies, coordinating with carriers, managing stock levels, and using inventory management systems.
• Review and evaluate AI responses to logistics and inventory queries for accuracy and industry standards.
• Provide detailed feedback on manufacturing logistics scenarios to improve AI training.

Ideal Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience as a shipping, receiving, or inventory clerk in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated professional recognition and management responsibilities.
• Proficient with computers and experienced with logistics software systems.
• Excellent written communication with strong grammar and spelling skills.
• Ability to pass a video interview, background check, training, and qualification quiz.

More About the Opportunity

• Fully remote and asynchronous — complete work on your own schedule.
• Expected workload: 20+ hours per week with flexibility to scale up to 40 hours.
• Project start date: immediate, with engagements lasting around six weeks.

Compensation & Contract Terms

• $45-$60/hour with weekly payouts via Stripe Connect.
• Independent contractor engagement through Mercor.
• Hourly compensation is paid weekly via Stripe Connect.
• Payments are based on services rendered, and contractors maintain full control over their work schedule and methods.
